COMPANY OVERVIEW
Focal Healthcare, based in Canada, is a leading provider of advanced imaging technologies designed to enhance precision in prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment. Their innovative solutions, including targeted biopsy and fusion imaging systems, empower healthcare professionals to deliver more accurate and effective care. Committed to improving patient outcomes, Focal Healthcare combines cutting-edge technology with user-friendly designs to support the evolving needs of the medical community.
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Fusion Bx
Fusion biopsy technology combines previously taken MRIs with live ultrasound to improve the visibility of suspicious lesions in the prostate. This allows physicians to take fewer cores because lesions can now be targeted. Get to know more about fusion and the Fusion Bx.
ACCURACY
Compared to ultrasound imaging, MRI can be considered the “Gold Standard” for detecting lesions. MRI-targeted biopsies with Fusion Bx addresses potential sources of inaccuracy during biopsy procedures by targeting 3 key areas: prostate deformation, patient motion and registration.
EFFICIENCY
Innovative technology doesn’t need to be complicated. Driven by end users, our 4-step guided workflow and semi-robotic arm eases the procedure for both physicians and patients.
ACCESSIBILITY
Through rigorous testing and a fine attention to detail, we’ve developed a quality cost effective solution for fusion biopsies. Thoughtful engineering, multi-probe compatibility and accommodating customer service makes our system accurate, efficient and accessible to everyone.

Semi-Robotic Arm
An unrestricted range of motion allows freehand-like access to the entire prostate, while maintaining consistent probe pressure to minimize prostate deformation.
Hands-Free Operation
Patented counterbalance technology simplifies procedures by supporting the ultrasound probe in any position, reducing the need for additional assistance.
Universal Compatibility
Most ultrasound probes can be connected with ease using the corresponding holster, and both transrectal and transperineal approaches are supported.
Motion Compensation
Motion compensation feature automatically adjusts for patient
movement to maintain image registration, allowing procedures
to continue uninterrupted.
